This Weekend in Pittsburgh: October 23–25
Published Thursday, October 22, 2026. The last full weekend before Halloween is stacked — and strange in the best way: Rod Wave and Smokey Robinson headline Friday, the Pens are home Saturday night, and the Steelers kick off Sunday at 9:30 in the morning from Paris. Add Little Big Town Sunday night, Giselle all weekend, a one-night-only Kennywood drone show, and ZooBoo for the kids. Every date below was verified against venue, team, and ticketing listings — lineups can change, so confirm before you head out.

Honest note on sports: the Pens are the only home team in town this weekend — Saturday 7 PM vs. Nashville at PPG. Pitt (5–2) is at No. 1 Miami on Saturday at noon on ESPN, and the Steelers are not just on the road, they're in another country: Sunday's 9:30 AM ET kickoff against the Saints is the NFL's first game in France, at Stade de France outside Paris, on NFL Network. Plan Sunday accordingly — that's a morning watch party, not a tailgate. On the concert side, The Wylie has a different headliner all three nights (Smokey Robinson Friday, Thundercat Saturday, Little Big Town Sunday), and PPG flips from Rod Wave Friday to hockey Saturday. Giselle runs four performances Friday through Sunday, so ballet fans have plenty of shots. Heading out with your crew to a show, the game, or an early Sunday watch bar? That's exactly what the bus is for — see below.
